Lori Greiner
Lori Greiner was a Chicago native who was born on December 9th, 1969 on the Gold Coast. Greiner is the second child of an uncle who is a real estate developer and an mother who works as psychologist. Her parents separated at the age of 9 years old.Greiner studied journalism, communications, television and film at Loyola University Chicago. Her first job was as a playwright, designer and playwright. She also sold her own jewelry. She created a prototype of the product, which was picked up by J.C. Penney before the holiday season.She stated that "she never set out to be an inventor on a regular basis" however her success on the Home Shopping Network started her in that direction. The following year , she switched to QVC and in 2000 , she came up with a variety of new products.In 2012, she joined the TV series Shark Tank. A year later, her investment in Scrub Daddy which produces a textured household sponge, was hailed as a massive success. In 2014 she had sold more than 2 million on QVC.
